Digestive Health & Fatigue Support in Camden, NSW

Tired, Bloated and Running on Empty?

Natural, personalised support for digestive discomfort, fatigue and low energy through Ayurvedic Consultation and Yoga Therapy in Camden, NSW.

You’re Not Imagining It and You Don’t Have to Put Up With It

Bloating after every meal. A digestive system that feels unpredictable or uncomfortable. An energy level that never quite recovers no matter how much you sleep. Brain fog that makes it hard to think clearly. If this sounds familiar, you are far from alone, and there is more that can be done than you might think.

At Serene Wellbeing Therapies in Camden, Rebecca works with clients experiencing digestive discomfort and persistent fatigue through Ayurvedic Consultation and Yoga Therapy. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, this approach looks at the whole picture, your digestion, your sleep, your stress load, your daily routines and your constitution, to identify the patterns that may be contributing to how you feel, and develop a practical, personalised plan to address them.

  • Poor or unrefreshing sleepLow motivation or flat mood

  • Frequent illness or low immunity
  • Skin conditions linked to gut health
  • Weight fluctuations or difficulty maintaining a healthy weight

How Ayurveda Supports Digestive Health & Fatigue

In Ayurveda, healthy digestion, known as agni, is considered the foundation of all health. When digestion is strong, the body absorbs nutrients effectively, produces energy efficiently and eliminates waste without difficulty. When it is impaired, a cascade of downstream effects follows: fatigue, brain fog, poor immunity, skin issues and emotional imbalance.

As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, Rebecca looks at your unique constitution (your dosha), your current imbalances, your daily routines and your dietary patterns to understand what is driving your symptoms. From there, she develops a simple, practical and personalised plan that you can apply in everyday life.

You may receive guidance in:

Dietary choices to support your digestive type and reduce inflammation
Daily routine recommendations (dinacharya) to regulate digestion and energy
Sleep hygiene practices aligned with your constitution
Stress management approaches that reduce the nervous system’s impact on digestion
Simple self-care rituals to support energy, clarity and overall vitality
turmeric tea
Pranayama for healthy mind and body

How Yoga Therapy Supports Digestion & Energy

The connection between the nervous system and the digestive system is profound and well-researched. When the nervous system is in a chronic state of stress or dysregulation, as it often is in people experiencing fatigue and digestive issues, digestion is one of the first functions to be compromised.

Yoga Therapy works directly with the nervous system through Pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (gentle movement) and mindfulness practices that shift the body from a stress response into a state of rest, repair and digestion. This is not general yoga, it is a personalised, therapeutic approach designed specifically around your symptoms, your energy levels and your constitution.

Yoga Therapy can support:

  • Nervous system regulation, reducing the stress response that impairs digestion
  • Improved sleep quality and recovery
  • Gentle movement to support gut motility and reduce bloating
  • Breathing practices that directly stimulate the vagus nerve and digestive organs
  • Building sustainable energy rather than boom-and-bust fatigue cycles

What the Research Says

The connection between lifestyle, nervous system health and digestive function is one of the most active areas of research in integrative medicine.

The gut-brain axis, the two-way communication pathway between the digestive system and the nervous system, is now well-established in the scientific literature. Research consistently shows that chronic stress dysregulates this axis, contributing to conditions including irritable bowel, bloating, food sensitivities and fatigue. Interventions that regulate the nervous system, including yoga and mindfulness-based practices, have been shown to measurably improve gut function and reduce digestive symptoms.

For fatigue specifically, a 2021 systematic review published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine (Brinsley et al.) found that yoga practice significantly reduces fatigue and improves energy levels across a range of conditions. Yoga’s role in improving sleep quality, itself a major driver of fatigue, is also well-supported across multiple trials.

For Ayurveda and digestive health, a 2023 bibliometric analysis published in the Journal of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine (Nedungadi et al.) identified Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle principles as a growing area of evidence, with research linking Ayurvedic approaches to improvements in gut function, inflammation and metabolic health.

Important note: These sessions support your wellbeing through lifestyle and therapeutic practices. They complement, not replace, conventional medical care. Please always consult your GP if you have concerns about your digestive health or fatigue levels.

What to Expect at Your First Session

Your first session begins with a warm, unhurried conversation about your digestive health, your energy levels, your sleep, your daily routines and the symptoms that have brought you here. There is no rushed assessment, Rebecca takes time to understand the full picture before making any recommendations.

Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on Ayurvedic Consultation, Yoga Therapy or a combination of both. For digestive and fatigue concerns, many clients find that an initial Ayurvedic Consultation which provides a comprehensive lifestyle and dietary assessment, is the most useful starting point, with Yoga Therapy sessions woven in to support nervous system regulation and energy.

You will leave your first session with practical, achievable changes to implement, nothing overwhelming, nothing that requires a complete lifestyle overhaul. Small, consistent shifts are the Ayurvedic way.

Sessions are held at 12 McCrae Drive, Camden NSW, easily accessible from Narellan, Campbelltown, Oran Park and across the Macarthur region.

What Our Clients Say

“My husband and I struggled with fertility for many years, we had even discussed IVF with our doctor and I started seeing a fertility specialist.
After seeing no results at the “specialist” I decided to stop going.

Within 6 months of seeing Rebecca on a monthly basis, we fell pregnant naturally, it was a complete surprise as we had given up on having another child.

We cannot thank Rebecca enough.
She has changed not only my life, but my entire family’s life.

Thank you Rebecca!”
